From start to finish, you could be out of the clinic in 60 minutes.
Is Dermapen Microneedling Safe?
When done correctly, following strict safety Protocols, microneedling is a very safe procedure, with little to no risk.
However, if the needles or clinic aren’t sterile or the wrong Meso-Glides (lubricating serums) are used, microneedling can cause damage.
That’s why I always recommend that you find an Authorised Treatment Provider who is trained in our safety Anti-Contamination Management™ (ACM) protocols.
The Dermapen 4™ has built-in ACM functionality, so there’s no fluid backflow, no cross-contamination, and no drag.
How Many Dermapen Microneedling Sessions to See Results?
It’s not uncommon to see results after just one microneedling procedure with the Dermapen 4. And you may continue to see results for up to 2 years after.
However, for life-changing (seriously!) results, you need to commit to the amount and frequency as prescribed by the Authorised Treatment Provider.
These recommendations are based on your goals, the current condition of your skin, and our in-depth research-backed Protocols.
You can probably expect anywhere between 4-6 sessions on average, spaced up to 8 weeks apart.
What To Expect During a Dermapen Microneedling Procedure
Dermapen Treatments™ stimulate the skin’s healing response through thousands of tiny and controlled punctures in the skin. This encourages more precious growth factors, collagen, and elastin for a naturally rejuvenated complexion.
During the procedure I will apply a targeted Meso-Glide™ from the Dp Dermaceuticals™ range. This helps the microneedling pen glide over your skin while the active ingredients travel down the tiny channels created by the needles.
